The reserve runs two kinds of jungle drive — the 6-seater Jeep (Gypsy) and the 20-seater Canter — both operating from 1 October to 30 June. Drives thread through ten safari zones, and each zone carries its own terrain, water bodies, and wildlife rhythm.

Ranthambore National Park lies in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur district and ranks among India's most-watched wildlife destinations. Spread over roughly 392 square kilometres, the reserve blends dry deciduous forest, open meadows, lakes, and rocky ridges — a dramatic setting where tigers are seen more reliably than almost anywhere else in the country.
The park is celebrated for its wild Royal Bengal Tigers, and a single drive can reveal leopards, sloth bears, striped hyenas, jackals, sambar, chital, nilgai, wild boar, and langur. Birdwatchers can tick off hundreds of species, from crested serpent eagles to painted storks, so every jungle safari delivers something new.
Wildlife is only part of the story. The Ranthambore Fort crowns a hill inside the reserve and is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, overlooking ancient temples, lakes, and ruins that long predate the park itself.
The forest was first given sanctuary status in 1955, joined India's original Project Tiger reserves in 1973, and was upgraded to a national park in 1980. Those protections are why the tiger population has grown steadily across the decades.
Each morning and afternoon safari is conducted in approved Jeep or Canter vehicles with a licensed guide and driver. Because the animals move freely, no two drives are the same — that unpredictability is part of the experience every guest takes home.
