About Ranthambore National Park
Ranthambore National Park, located in the rugged terrain of southern Rajasthan, stands as one of India's most renowned tiger reserves and a symbol of successful wildlife conservation. Established in 1955 as Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary, it was designated a national park in 1980 and covers approximately 392 square kilometers.
The park features a unique blend of habitats — dry deciduous forests, open grasslands, and seasonal wetlands — providing refuge to an incredible diversity of flora and fauna.

Gypsy is a 6-seater open-roof SUV offering a closer wildlife viewing experience. Canter is a 20-seater open vehicle, more economical for larger groups. Both provide access to all safari zones.
Safari fees vary by nationality and vehicle type. Indian visitors pay approximately ₹1,200 per person for Canter and ₹2,300 for Gypsy. Foreign tourists pay ₹2,200 (Canter) and ₹3,600 (Gypsy). These are government-mandated fees.
Zones 3, 5, and 10 are popular for consistent tiger sightings, but sightings depend on seasonal wildlife movement. Our team provides zone guidance based on recent sightings and current conditions.
Once a safari permit is issued by the Forest Department, it is generally non-refundable as per government rules. If the park is closed due to monsoon or technical reasons before permit issuance, a refund or rescheduling may be possible. Read our refund policy for details.
Indian guests need a valid photo ID (Aadhar, PAN, Voter ID, or Driving License). Foreign nationals require a valid passport and visa. ID details are mandatory for issuing official Forest Department permits.
